Melaque - Villa Xochipilli

We arrived at Villa Xochipilli with out any problems, well one tope near Tamazula caught Al by surprise, Jazzy too!  After we hit it, I looked back and she was in the hallway and the bed was moved, we think she got thrown right out of her spot under the covers.  For the rest of the drive she curled up on the floor.

We are the only RV at this small Park.  There are 4 bungalows filled right now.  One couple has been here since October, they are from Washington state, Whidby Island to be exact.

Here are some pictures of the place...

Here are some pictures of the beach!  We walked by the house we rented April 2010 with Jim and Rita, and it is still for sale, looks a little run down and has a new house right behind it (sorry no pictures of it)

We went to our old favorite hangout  Bigotes, right on the beach, had some cervesa's and shrimp and then wandered up to the centro to watch the fireworks...

a young man twirling a flaming baton

a miniature pony giving rides to children and a really mini pony following it!

My battery died before the actual fireworks started but they were very good!

On Sunday night we went to the Red Lobster, a small neighbourhood restaurant.  I had coconut shrimp with rice and salad, Al had a whole fish also with rice and salad and we had 6 beers and the total was $310 pesos (less then $30 Cdn).  Sorry again no pictures.  Yes, Nancy, I am missing your photographic skills.

A note to Jerry - I don't know what you were talking about!  Brandon is a big pussy cat!

Today we are off to wander some more!  Talk to you later.
