Our first trip in Sunny!

We hit the road early Thursday morning on our first "trip" heading toward the sunny town of Osoyoos.

We left Tynehead RV Park at 7 am and hit the freeway.  We were meeting Christi, Corry and Alex in Abbotsford to gas up our beast as cheaply as we could.  (it was 122.9/litre)

Corry and I switched places and he drove with Grandpa until the next stop in Princeton.  (a potty break not a gas break)  Yeah for motorhome washrooms, no grotty gas station washrooms anymore!

The motorhome made it through the mountain passes with no problems and we pulled into the NK'Mip campgrounds on the east side of Osoyoos Lake around noon.  A lakefront campsite for us!

We set up our camp and started to relax!

And playing in the lake....

Alex playing on the shore...

After supper we went and played a round of mini-golf at Rattlesnake Canyon...

All that was in the first day,  on Friday we played in the sun and the water....

Christi, Corry and Alex headed for home after dinner,  and we relaxed the rest of the weekend  by enjoying the lake and the sun...

We walked into town, checked out the neighbourhood pub (of course) and watched people (alot).

On Tuesday we headed home, reluctantly, and met this guy when we stopped for lunch in Princeton.  Any ideas on what he is??

So for now its back to Tynehead RV Park, and for Al back to work!  Hopefully we will get another trip or two in before retirement
