Hacienda Contreras


Our time at Hacienda Contreras has ended.  We pulled in on Feb 6th and we drove away on March 16th,a much longer stay then we planned, but we have done a lot in that time.


We had the motorhome painted..and the results are spectacular. 






We had replacements made for all the bathroom cabinets and kitchen cabinets.   $115 for 10 doors.


We have visited many small communities in the area, saw the real Mexico not just the tourist areas.

Went to a Mescal distillery, picked fresh lemons, limes, oranges, pomegranates, and avocados.  Eaten many excellent Mexican meals.

And met numerous new friends from the U.S and Canada

And  best of all met Barb and Sal Contreras and their assorted animals.  They are terrific hosts and fabulous people.

    Nice post Colleen!! Great way to wrap up all things you did in this area. See, we told you what amazing hosts Barb & Sal are - and what a wonderful place this is to call "home away from home"! Have fun at the beach - we miss you!!
